Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations

Ghana Somubi Dwumadie and the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) in collaboration with the management of Pantang Hospital conducted a disability audit at Pantang Hospital in March 2023. Findings from the audit were disseminated at a stakeholders meeting held at the facility conference room in March 2023.

For people with disabilities to have increased independence, engagement, and social inclusion, the environment must be accessible. All members of a society, including the elderly, children, adults, and those with disabilities, are impacted by an inaccessible environment. Due to an environment that is not accessible, however, people with disabilities face increased obstacles to equal participation in society.
