HEAD OF PHARMACY - Dr. REINER ADISI

Pantang Hospital, one of the three psychiatric hospitals in Accra, Ghana, has a well-established Pharmacy Department that plays a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients. Pharmacotherapy is one of the main pillars of psychiatric and general medical care, and the department ensures that the right patients receive the right medication in the right dose, at the right cost, with the right counseling to support their treatment and recovery.

Over the years, the growth and expansion of the hospital have led to a significant increase in the Pharmacy Department’s capacity, growing from a limited selection of government-procured medications to managing over 400 molecules to serve both medical and psychiatric needs.
